Getting the basics in place…
1. Have a website
I would recommend anyone that has a MLM business to get a website. A website costs about $10/mth depending on the type of hosting you wish to get. If you plan to just focus on 1 website which is your MLM business, then just a $10/mth basic hosting package will do.
This website is used to generate leads and exposure for your MLM business.
2. Is your MLM internet based?
If you have a website, then you can expect your traffic to be international. Thus having an MLM affiliate business that is international will allow you to build your business in every part of the world instead of just your own country. Imagine having a network marketing business that can reach into China, just a 1% slice of that market can earn you an income that is lifestyle changing. So choose a good company to work with and get off to a good start.
3. Do you have a product that requires shipping, inventory stocking etc…
Generally, its better to have a MLM company that does not require any inventory. If inventory is required, then its good to have a product range that is high end. This is because it takes the same effort to sell a $10 product as it does to sell a $10,000 product. So you’ll want to maximise your time.
4. Database capture.
You’ll want to keep a database of people that are interested in your product or business opportunity. Keeping in contact with people that have similar interest is very important because these will be your furture customers as well as business builders and they will all contribute to your bottom line!
So remember to incorporate some element of database building into your website.
Once your website is up…
1. Test Small With Google Adwords Before…
You can send some traffic to your website with Google Adwords. This is so that you can quickly test your marketing message. If you get sales, compare this to how much you’re earning. If it breaks even, your message is probably good. If you get very little sales, I highly recommend changing the message on your website, tweaking it until you get the sales you want.
2. Advertise more…
Once the sales numbers are up, you can consider spending more money on classified advertising, taking ads out in papers. This will cost more. So that’s why its important to 1st test how much you’ll make before spending this amount. If the sales are good, continue advertising before moving on.
Once your network marketing business is booming…
At this stage, you’re already quite successful, rather then building your own team, your job now is to assist them in building theirs. So you’ve already moved up the ladder. Here are a few ways you can keep in touch with your team.
1. Video Conferencing
It does not matter whether or not you speak in perfect sentences. So long a people feel that your advice if for them to succeed, they will appreciate your efforts in setting this up. Sharing your success by video conferncing is a great tool to keep in touch with your team.
2. Database Email Marketing
Teach your team the importance of database email marketing. This is once of the important tools of MLM that will quickly build a huge team under you in just a few weeks.
3. Seminar
Once you have acheived the success, starting from a website, to advertising, to coaching your team online, you can now move to conducting a seminar, sharing your entire success blueprint. This is where the big bucks will start rolling into your coffers, and you’ll probably be driving a new Maserati sports after the seminar is done.
